Background:
The Rye Brook Village Board and Planning Board will have a joint meeting
at the site of the Kensett Darien residential development, which was built by
the same developer who has an application submitted to the Village of Rye
Brook. Interested members of the public are welcome to attend this site visit.
Buckingham Partners and Sun Homes have submitted an application for a
proposed one-hundred and ten (110) residential dwellings at the Reckson
Office Park located at 1100 King Street in Rye Brook, NY. This application
includes a residential site plan and a petition to amend the current OB-1
zoning and map the property in the Planned Unit Development District. One
hundred (100) of the proposed residential homes would be market -rate
housing and ten (10) homes would qualify as affordable housing. Copies of

Directions to Site Visit (approx. 15 miles/18 minutes from Rye Brook):
Take Merritt Pkwy (CT-15N) north to Exit 36 (13.1 mi).
Turn right onto Old Stamford Road/CT-106 (1.7 mi).
Make a left onto Wakemore Street (197 ft.).
Make a left onto Kensett Lane and clubhouse will be on the left.
Attendees and members of the public should meet at 9:00 A.M. at the
clubhouse located at 1 Kensett Lane, Darien, CT 06820.
