2018.10.22 Architectural Review Board Comments1 Alex Marshall Subject:FW: 900 King Street - ARB comments to DEIS From: Mitchell [mailto:mllevy96@aol.com] Sent: Monday, October 22, 2018 8:47 AM To: Christopher Bradbury <CBradbury@ryebrook.org> Subject: 900 King Street - ARB comments to DEIS Good Morning Chris the following are comments by the Architectural Review Board for the 900 King Street DEIS. Jonathan Metz has recused himself from the application, because his office is the Architect of Record. 1) The packet was well thought out. It does answer many of the needs for the community and our baby boomer population in Westchester. The layout appears to work well for the three different groups. Didn’t examine all of it at this time. I do think they were sensitive to the use of Arbor Drive to limit the concerns of the Arbors but I am sure they will be upset at any development in that location. 2) the project massing, SF and Height, seems too large for the site. 3) there appears not enough parking for the number of units and required staff. 4) there appears to be a lot of impervious surface.
