As a resident of The Arbors in Rye Brook. I am writing regarding the proposed project at 900 King Street,
presented by the applicant. I urge you to adopt revisions to this project as currently proposed.
I hope the Village Board knows that a significant number of Arbors and Village of Rye Brook residents will
be affected by this project and have a vested interest in the outcome of your decision.
In particular, I urge you to require increased analysis of alternatives to the Project that will incorporate the
following:
Alternatives to setting the age restriction at 55 years, as Senior Housing has an age requirement
of 62
Less - bulk, density, and scale: impact on ground disturbance and wetlands and impact on
vegetation.
The major traffic congestion impacts the project will have on Arbor Drive traffic patterns and the
King Street Interchange
Alternatives that do not require major demolition and a massive construction project.
As one of your constituents, I hope you will take these issues into serious consideration before moving
forward with this project.
