I moved to Ryebrook and found a residence at the Arbors which was within my current single income level and have resided here for several years. I have a 12-year-old boy who is in seventh grade at the middle school. He is happy , doing well and very entrenched in BBMS. The proposed building threatens the very reasons we moved here . The Arbors provides us with a beautiful community to live in, at an income level that I can afford as a single parent , in a school system that is bar none. The building plans proposed , the multiple rental units within it, the 3 years of building , all of this and more will threaten a quality-of-life we have come to know. Would you want to listen to 3 years of building ? Suffer the air and noise pollution ? Compromise you child’s safety when he walks to school everyday? Wonder what was to become of the school systems which is the predominate reason we even live here ? What are the options your leaving others like me ? Do you think I can just put my home up for sale and move somewhere else in Rye Brook at a single income level? The answer is NO. Should I have to move out of the county and pull my child out of the school that he loves because ... why! Find another way. There is always another way. There are better options. Find them. Immediately. 2 Please ! Polly Stella-Turner Arbors Resident
