We live at 199 ivy hill crescent adjacent to the field between 900 King and the Arbors. Ever since this project was proposed, the owners of 900 King have progressively neglected this field, allowing the grass to grow to an unsightly height; when finally cut, the scraps were not collected. The field now is 100% a field covered with hay. They take better care of the publicly viewed parts of 900, but not of the rest. Last year they maintained the grass, but irregularly. This year, is appears they have abandoned it. We spoke with Mikey and the grass was cut, but the results are sloppy, and a hay covered field is the result. It is unsightly and detracts from the value of our properties. Presently there are at least three houses in this tract which are, or will be, on the market for sale. And one for rent. Marketing them under the circumstances of neglect from the owners of 900 King is very difficult and not very successful. The lack of care given to this property raises the question of what care the owners will give to 900KING, during and after the demolition. Will they allow the area to deteriorate further, reducing adjacent property values even more?? At the same time, we question the length of demolition time required. How long will it last?? July 15 until the beginning of the school year? Will we be bothered by dust, vermin and associated inconveniences related to demolition? What will the length of time between demolition and the start of construction?? Please share this with the Board. Ken Hinek/Sofia Brenerman
