Epstein; David M. Heiser; Jason A. Klein; j.rednick@verizon.net Subject: Please vote AGAINST the 900 King Street Building Project Dear Honorable Mayor Rosenberg and Honorable Members of the Board of Trustees, I am writing to oppose the plan to build the 55+ development at 900 King Street, next to the Arbors and Blind Brook Middle/High School. You will be failing our community if you do not do everything in your power to stop this construction. Based on all of the documents I have read (posted on your site: http://www.ryebrook.org/cit-e-access/webpage.cfm?TID=31&TPID=16444 ), the impact on our community is only negative. The traffic, increase in school age population ( 55 + is NOT “senior” in the sense that the builders would like to portray - I know plenty of parents of school age children in our neighborhood alone who fall into that category), the effect on wetlands, the impact on the students currently attending the middle and high school during construction… the studies and comments against this build in the documents on your site lay more out in detail. This project will be bad for our children, who currently enjoy the benefits of an outstanding education with small classes and a great teacher-student ration. I believe most parents have moved to Rye Brook for its schools, as well as it’s wonderful community. This project will negatively impact that. I am sharing this information with friends as I do not believe a good enough effort - if any - was made to alert us to this proposal. Please do what is best for Rye Brook and vote AGAINST this building proposal. Thank you, Caryn Greenspan Rye Brook resident
