Impact of construction traffic. One of the most attractive aspects of Rye Brook and The Arbors is the peace and quiet, which I enjoy every single day. The constant construction noise, traffic, and debris in NYC were reasons I moved to Westchester in the first place. 2. Zoning. There are reasons why the current site is zoned for 106 units. Why should we be entertaining allowing 250+ units there? 3. Impact to schools, property taxes, and property values. Rye Brook is currently a very appealing place that families desire to live in. Why risk that status now? What exactly is broken that requires a massive, invasive new development that violates current zoning rules? Finally, I urge you to consider who will be the beneficiaries of this project? Certainly the developer will be. But will the current residents, many of whom have lived here for many years and reliably paid their taxes? Jeff Nadler 95 Brush Hollow Close
