Fair and Affordable Housing
PROPOSED ENERGY USE
As provided by the developer:
The two proposed FAH residential buildings, containing 2 units each will be constructed in
conformance with requirements of the Energy Code of New York State.
The modular home manufacturer will prepare a comprehensive set of drawings and details,
including running an energy ResCheck analysis, and submit them to NYS DOS for review and
approval.
As factory constructed modular units, the review and approval will be issued by NYS and a stamped
set of approved drawings, including conformance with the Energy Code, will be submitted to the
Village of Rye Brook Building Department.
It is intended that all appliances will be Energy Star rated. Light fixtures will be the most efficient
LED type. Heating systems will utilize state of the art high efficiency condensing boilers, generally
achieving an efficiency rating of 95% or more. Water saving devices will be installed on all faucets
and shower heads to reduce the consumption of water. All bathroom fixtures will have low-flush
volume.
