CONVENE MEETING
The Meeting was called to order at 7:30 p.m. by Mayor Cresenzi in the Meeting Room and the Pledge of
Allegiance followed.
Present were the following members of the Board:
Mayor Salvatore M. Cresenzi
Trustee Joseph Pellino
Trustee Nancy Stein Tunis
Trustee Gary J. Zuckerman
Also present were:
Christopher J. Russo, Village Administrator
Lori Ann DeMarco, Ass't to Village Administrator
Rocco V. Circosta, Director of Public Works
Kenneth E. Powell, Village Attorney
Robert J. Santoro, Chief of Police
Joseph Cortese, Village Treasurer was not in attendance at this meeting.

PUBLIC HEARING
1. A SPECIAL PERMIT APPLICATION
NYNEX CONTROLLED ENVIRONMENTAL VAULT
Mayor Cresenzi stated that the public hearing was canceled because the application was withdrawn.
2. BUDGET MODIFICATION - SETTING FEES
RECREATION DEPARTMENT
On Motion made by Trustee Tunis, seconded by Trustee Pellino, the following Resolution was hereby adopted:

BUDGET MODIFICATION - SETTING FEES
RECREATION DEPARTMENT
WHEREAS,the Recreation and Parks Department desires a self-sustaining Floor Hockey and Youth Basketball
program; and
WHEREAS,the Floor Hockey program is new and was not anticipated during budget preparations for the
1995-1996 fiscal year; and
WHEREAS,the Youth Basketball program requires additional referees and supervision to accommodate
additional games.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT
RESOLVED,that the fee for Floor Hockey shall be $40 per player and the fee for Youth Basketball shall be $50
per player; and be it
FURTHER RESOLVED,that the following budget modification is hereby approved:

3. MASTER AGREEMENT WITH NEW YORK STATE
POWER AUTHORITY FOR ELECTRICITY
On Motion made by Trustee Pellino, seconded by Trustee Zuckerman, the following resolution was hereby
adopted:
RESOLUTION
MASTER AGREEMENT WITH NEW YORK STATE
POWER AUTHORITY FOR ELECTRICITY
RESOLVED,that the Village of Rye Brook is authorized to enter into a Master Agreement with the Power
Authority of the State of New York under which the Village would commit to purchase its full electricity
requirements from New York State Power Authority at tariff rates, subject to increases, for an indefinite period
of time subject to certain rights of termination on 6 months notice due to rate increases,or upon 3 years notice in
writing given on December 31, 2001 or thereafter; and it is
FURTHER RESOLVED,that the Mayor is authorized to execute and deliver all documents necessary or
desirable to accomplish the purposes of this Resolution.
Administrator Russo explained that we would realize a savings of approximately $15,000 - $20,000 a year on
our electric rates.

On Motion made by Trustee Pellino, seconded by Trustee Zuckerman,the following resolution was hereby
adopted:

SUBDIVISION APPLICATION
RESOLVED,that the subdivision application of Howard Loewentheil Inc. to subdivide property located at 6
Hawthorne Avenue as a four(4) lot cluster subdivision is referred to the Planning Board for a report and
recommendation; and be it

FURTHER RESOLVED, that the developer shall be required to pay any/all professional fees as requested by
the Village in accordance with the Code of the Village of Rye Brook.

5. 4TH ANNUAL AMERICAN RED CROSS TURKEY TROT
On Motion made by Trustee Pellino, seconded by Trustee Tunis,the following resolution was hereby adopted:

4TH ANNUAL AMERICAN RED CROSS TURKEY TROT
RESOLVED,that the Village of Rye Brook hereby grants permission to the American Red Cross to hold their
4th Annual Turkey Trot on Thanksgiving Day, Thursday,November 23, 1995 from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.
partially within the Village of Rye Brook.

APPLICATION FOR A DOCTOR'S OFFICE
RESOLVED,that a public hearing shall be held by the Board of Trustees on October 24, 1995 at 7:30 p.m. at
the Village Offices, 90 South Ridge Street, on an application made by Merritt&Holby for a Doctor's Office at
200 South Ridge Street.
