Rye Brook have agreed that the Village of Rye Brook will administer the benefits in the future; NOW THEREFORE, BE IT KNOWN, that the Village of Rye Brook agrees to assume the health insurance (including dental where applicable), and life insurance obligations commencing June 1, 1983, including future obligations, to the retired employees listed on Schedule A, to the extent same were properly chargeable solely to the unicorporated area to the extent same were either the legal obligations of the Town of Rye on the date of incorporation of the Village of Rye Brook, or were the Town of Rye's obligations pursuant to a collective bargaining agreement in effect on June 1, 1983. To the extent 1984 payments have been advanced by the Town of Rye, for any retirement benefits on behalf of the employees listed on Schedule A, the Village of Rye Brook agrees to reimburse the Tam of said expenditures. Highway 0249 During the term of the lease, the Village shall pay rent to the Town at the rate of Eight Hundred Eighty-Two ($882.00) Dollars per month payable on the first of each month. This rental figure is based upon budget estimates for 1983 that the operating costs of the building will be Sixty-Pour Thousand Eight Hundred Eighty-Eight ($64,888.00) Dollars. If the actual operating costs of the building exceed the budgeted amounts, the Village shall pay to the Town its proportionate ��.... share of the excess expenses. This adjusted payment shall be made on January 31, 1984, and June 30, 1984. If the budgeted amounts exceed the actual operating costs of the building, the Town shall refund the proportionate share of the dif- ference to the Village on January 31, 1984, and June 30, 1984. Actual operating costs shall be certified by the Supervisor and subject to review by the Village Treasurer. The Village shall carry One Million Dollars ($1,000,000.00) Liability .Insurance. The areas rented by the Village shall by used only for the depart- ments currently using said areas. The Village accepts the premises "as is" and agrees to ncike no alterations without the written consent of the Town. The Village agrees that it will not be permitted to sublease the promises. The Town agrees to provide a reasonable number of parking spaces in its lot across from 10 Pearl Street, The Town further agrees to provide access to the premises at all times. This lease shall be in effect from June 1, 1983, to May 31, 1984. RETIRED EMPLOYEES' BENEFITS. AGREEMENT, made this day of March, 1984, by and between the Town of Rye (hereinafter referred to as "Town") and the Village of Rye Brook (hereinafter referred to as "Village"); WHEREAS, the Town entered into collective bargaining agreements expiring December 31, 1984 with unions representing certain retired employees; and MIEREAS, pursuant to the collective bargaining agreements certain retired employees were entitled to have certain health, dental and life insurance benefits; and rtio 02 3 SFEG1aL , ,.NG TO CANVASS TO VOTE IN THE MARCH 20th 1984 ELECTION IN THE VILLAGE OF RYE BROOK, HELD ON MARCH 21st, 1984 AT 8 P.M. Present: Mayor Kabcenell Trustee Meiskin Trustee Nardi 'trustee Harris Trustee Zak ' Attorney Kramer _ Clerk Smith Absent: Trustee Harris On the motion of Trustee Meiskin, seconded by Trustee Zak, RESOLVED that Sack Kabcenell be and he hereby is declared elected to the office of Mayor of the Village of Rye Brook for a term of two years, such term beginning at 12 o'clock noon, April 2nd, 1984. Trustee Meiskin voting AYE Trustee Nardi voting AYE Trustee Harris ABSENT Trustee Zak voting AYE Mayor Kabcenell ABSTAINING. On the motion of Trustee Meiskin, seconded by Trustee Zak, RESOLVED that Trustee Nardi be and he hereby is declared elected to the office of Trustee of the Village of Rye Brook for a term of two years, such term beginning at 12 o'clock noon, April 2nd, 1984, Trustee Meiskin voting AYE Trustee Nardi voting AYE Trustee Harris ABSENT Trustee Zak voting AYE Mayor Kabcenell voting AYE On the motion of Trustee Zak, seconded by Trustee Nardi, RESOLVED that Trustee Meiskin be and he hereby is declared elected to the office of Trustee of the Village of Rye Brook for a term of two years, such term beginning at 12 o'clock noon, April 2nd, 1984.
