MINUTES OF CONTINUATION OF PUBLIC HEARING ON LOCAL LAWS
HELD ON JANUARY 14th, 1985 at 8 PM at the Village Office.
Present: Mayor Kabcenell, Trustees Meiskin, Nardi, Harris, Zak
Attorney Kramer, Clerk Smith. .
Mayor Kabcenell reconvened the Public Hearing on Public Laws.
Attorney Kramer stated that proposed laws in connection with -
Amusements
Bowling Alleys
Dance Halls & Cabarets
Entertainments/Gaming Devices
are all covered by Public Assembly.
Proposed local law for Parking of Trucks is covered in the
Zoning law.
Proposed Law for Taxicabs - which licenses, sets standards for
and restricts taxicabs.
There was some discussion and certain items and procedures need
to be checked, therefore,
On the motion of Trustee Harris, seconded by Trustee Zak,
RESOLVED that the Public Hearing on the Proposed Local Law for
Taxicab regulations be adjourned until February 19th, 1985 at
8 P.M.

Proposed Law - Garbage and Other Waste .
This was designated as Local Law No. 1-85.
Proposed Law - Visual Obstructions which Create Traffic Hazards.
This was designated as Local Law No. 2-85.
Proposed Law - Subdivision Regulations
This was designated as Local Law No. 3-85.
On the motion of Trustee Zak, seconded by Trustee Meiskin,
RESOLVED that Local Laws -
1-85 Garbage and Other Waste
2-85 Visual Obstructions which Create Traffic Hazards
3-85 Subdivision Regulations
copies of which are on file in the Village Office, be
approved.

Proposed Local Law — Code of Ethics.
There was considerable discussion on this proposed Law, which
creates a code of ethics for employees and appointees of the
Village and persons appearing before Village Boards, and the
Board felt it needed more time and clarification of some of
the contents, therefore,
On the motion of Trustee Harris, seconded by Trustee Meiskin,
RESOLVED that the Proposed Local Law, — Code of Ethics he adjourned
until January 15th, 1985 at 8 p.m.

Proposed Local Law — Rooming Houses/Roomers & Boarders
On the motion of Trustee Zak, seconded by Trustee Harris,
RESOLVED that Proposed Local Law — Rooming Houses/Roomers &
Boarders, Public Hearing, be adjourned until January 15, 1985.
