Hoarding Condition, Blocked and obstructed entryway and stair way. Fire Hazard. Dear John Moy, The following violations of the Code of the Village of Rye Brook, and/or the New York State Uniform Fire Prevention & Building Code (NYSUFP&BC)were found to exist at the property above. DESCRIPTION 305.3 Interior surfaces. Interior surfaces, including windows and doors, shall be maintained in good, clean and sanitary condition. Peeling, chipping, flaking or abraded paint shall be repaired, removed or covered. Cracked or loose plaster, decayed wood and other defective surface conditions shall be corrected. 308.1 Accumulation of rubbish or garbage. Exterior property and premises, and the interior of every structure, shall be free from any accumulation of rubbish or garbage.404.5 Overcrowding. Dwelling units shall not be occupied by more occupants than permitted by the minimum area requirements of Table 404.5. [F] 702.1 General.A safe, continuous and unobstructed path of travel shall be provided from any point in a building or structure to the public way. Means of egress shall comply with the Fire Code of New York State. You are hereby directed to contact the Building Department, obtain all necessary permits and commence to correct the above-captioned violation(s) immediately. Violations of the NSYFP&BC must completely be remedied by Nov 23, 2025, which is (26)days after the date of this notice and are returnable at the rate of$1,000.00/day for each day of the continued violation, or imprisonment not exceeding one year, or both. A RE-INSPECTION OF THE PREMISES IS REQUIRED BY LAW TO CONFORM COMPLIANCE WITH THIS NOTICE &ALL APPLICABLE CODES.
