Dear Washington Park Plaza Assoc., The following violations of the Code of the Village of Rye Brook, and/or the New York State Uniform Fire Prevention & Building Code (NYSUFP&BC) were found to exist at the property above. DESCRIPTION 70-9 Intentional false alarm: It shall be a violation of this chapter to intentionally cause a false alarm, and any person who does intentionally cause a false alarm shall be subject to the penalty provisions hereof. 70-10 False alarm charges: A. Any owner or lessee of property having a police or fire alarm device or system of police or fire alarm devices on his premises and any use of services or equipment furnished by a licensee under this chapter shall pay to the Village Clerk a charge for each and every false alarm to which the Police Department responds, in each calendar year, established by the Board of Trustees. The current License and Permit Fee Schedule is on file in the Village Clerk's Office. You are hereby directed to contact the Building Department, obtain all necessary permits and commence to correct the above-captioned violation(s) immediately. Violations of the NSYFP&BC must completely be remedied by November 12,2025, which is (10) days after the date of this notice and are returnable at the rate of $1,000.00/day for each day of the continued violation, or imprisonment not exceeding one year, or both. A RE-INSPECTION OF THE PREMISES IS REQUIRED BY LAW TO CONFORM COMPLIANCE WITH THIS NOTICE &ALL APPLICABLE CODES. One unit was assigned to this incident.Three personnel responded.We arrived on scene at 0050 hours and cleared at 0 10 1 hours.The incident occurred at 275 S RIDGE St,RYE BROOK in District 239STA4.The general description of this property is restaurant or cafeteria.The primary task(s)performed at the scene by responding personnel was investigation.No mutual or automatic aid was given or received. Alarm number 2500575 has been assigned to this incident. On arrival,attempted to open front door with key labeled"American Prime"from knox box to no avail. RBFF were able to gain access through the back door that was open. Scene was investigated with no apparent hazards. This is an ongoing issue with system so alarm was only silenced.
