Dear ENRICO MARINI,
The following violations of the Code of the Village of Rye Brook, and/or the New York State Uniform Fire
Prevention & Building Code (NYSUFP&BC)were found to exist at the property above.
DESCRIPTION
No person shall erect, enlarge, improve, remove, relocate, demolish or structurally alter any
building, building system, or other structure, or perform nonstructural alterations where permits are
required due to the Uniform Fire Prevention and Building Code or as otherwise provided in the
Code of the Village of Rye Brook, within the Village of Rye Brook without first obtaining a building
permit. "Building systems" shall be defined as including, but not limited to, fuel-fired appliances and
heating systems, emergency and standby power systems, electrical systems and equipment,
plumbing systems and equipment, mechanical refrigeration systems, elevator recall, stationary
lead-acid battery systems and commercial kitchen hoods.A building permit will be issued only to
the owner(s) of record of the affected real property. The building permit application must be signed
by the owner(s) of record.
You are hereby directed to contact the Building Department, obtain all necessary permits and commence to
correct the above-captioned violation(s) immediately. Violations of the NSYFP&BC must completely be remedied
by NOVEMBER 11, 2024, which is (30) days after the date of this notice and are returnable at the rate of
$1,000.00/day for each day of the continued violation, or imprisonment not exceeding one year, or both.
A RE-INSPECTION OF THE PREMISES IS REQUIRED BY LAW TO CONFORM COMPLIANCE WITH THIS
NOTICE&ALL APPLICABLE CODES.

Dear Mr. Fews
I hope this message finds you well. I am writing to bring to your attention an issue regarding the ongoing
construction at the property located at 42 Roanoke Ave, Rye Brook, NY 10573. Over the past weekend—
Friday, Saturday, and Sunday—construction was being carried out until 7 PM each day.
Unfortunately,the work generated a significant amount of debris and dust that spread throughout the
neighborhood. As a result, I returned home to find that a considerable amount of dust had entered my home
through an open window while I was at work. Additionally, the conditions outside made it difficult to walk
around the area without inhaling the dust, raising concerns for the safety and health of myself and other
residents, particularly children.
I kindly request that appropriate construction methods and precautions be enforced to ensure that debris is
properly contained, and that future work complies with safety standards to protect the neighboring
community.

RE: RB-2024-014 EXTERIOR WORK WITHOUT A PERMIT
Dear ENRICO MARINI,
The following violations of the Code of the Village of Rye Brook, and/or the New York State Uniform Fire
Prevention & Building Code (NYSUFP&BC)were found to exist at the property above.
DESCRIPTION
No person shall erect, enlarge, improve, remove, relocate, demolish or structurally alter any
building, building system, or other structure, or perform nonstructural alterations where permits are
required due to the Uniform Fire Prevention and Building Code or as otherwise provided in the
Code of the Village of Rye Brook, within the Village of Rye Brook without first obtaining a building
permit. "Building systems" shall be defined as including, but not limited to, fuel-fired appliances and
heating systems, emergency and standby power systems, electrical systems and equipment,
plumbing systems and equipment, mechanical refrigeration systems, elevator recall, stationary
lead-acid battery systems and commercial kitchen hoods.A building permit will be issued only to
the owner(s) of record of the affected real property. The building permit application must be signed
by the owner(s) of record.
You are hereby directed to contact the Building Department, obtain all necessary permits and commence to
correct the above-captioned violation(s) immediately. Violations of the NSYFP&BC must completely be remedied
by NOVEMBER 11, 2024, which is (30) days after the date of this notice and are returnable at the rate of
$1,000.00/day for each day of the continued violation, or imprisonment not exceeding one year, or both.
A RE-INSPECTION OF THE PREMISES IS REQUIRED BY LAW TO CONFORM COMPLIANCE WITH THIS
NOTICE &ALL APPLICABLE CODES.
FAILURE TO COMPLY WITH THIS NOTICE IS A CRIME PUNISHABLE BY FINE, IMPRISONMENT OR
BOTH.
