As Laura stated, you technically never had a building permit. What you had was an approved application for proposed work requiring a building permit. In order to for the permit to have been issued, you would have to paid all the fees, and submit the contractor required information, etc. Your application is over a year old, which means that the Village Code section 91-5.D considers it"Abandoned." It is no longer a viable application. This means if you intended to go forward with the project and any amendment to the project, you must start all over from scratch.
