HomeMy WebLinkAboutLetter 2023-12-13 To whom it may concern Re: Residence at Two Bell Place, Rye Brook NY 10573 Date: December 13, 2023 As of this date, there were no outstanding Certification of Occupancy (COs) for the residence listed above. In the process of selling this residence, the intended buyer's representative identified additional areas thought to be in need of permits (see attached). Upon careful review and meeting with the Rye Brook Village Building Inspector, only one new permit request was valid as explained below: 1. The Porch surrounding the original entrance was enclosed and was fully incorporated in the CO dated 7/8/2013 entitled: "Legalize Conversion of Attached Garage to Living Space with Gable End Roof-Attic Storage." Schematic by Accent Architecture clearly shows new enclosed living space and new siding. 2. The replacement of the window on the first floor with an equivalent size window does not require a permit at this time. 3. The dryer exhaust venting was incorporated in the approved CO entitled "1 Family 2 car garage w/ finished room above dated 8/11,1978 and contains the following language: "New exhaust bathroom fan duct out to rear house roof." (see attached architect's schematic). Although not required as stated above, the owner, at his expense, will relocate the current dryer exhaust venting duct exiting from the roof to a garage exit and will use rigid metal ducting. One area identified b, the intended buyer needs to be addressed: The installation of a washing machine & dryer to replace an existent bathtub and shower. A permit has been issued to address this issue to: Suppa & Sons Plumbing and an additional permit for electric work to: Westmore Electric. e, NP, LID w5Ki
