Good morning Freddy,
I hope you had a nice weekend.
As a follow up to your visit to my house last week (76 Country Ridge Drive), we had our landscaper
over on Saturday to check the area where the water is running off on to the street. We wanted to
make sure there was a pipe there before we ran the dye you gave us through the gutter to see if that
was causing the runoff. I wanted to let you know that there is no pipe there, so the water runoff is
being caused by something else that is not part of our house. Our pipe from the gutter is located a
few feet away, which the landscaper confirmed after he dug up that area, and there is no water runoff
there.
Based on what you told me, since there is no pipe in the area you wanted me to check, this water
running onto the street is not my responsibility, and we should have the violation removed from our
records (violation #E 2106). 1 will call you later today to discuss this further, but I wanted to let you

The following violations of the Code of the Village of Rye Brook, and/or the New York State Uniform

another or onto a public right-of-way in a manner that results in a hazard or
nuisance. ( water being discharged onto roadway by curb. )
You are hereby directed to contact this department, obtain all necessary permits & commence to correct the above
captioned violation(s) immediately. Violations of the NYSUFP&BC must be completely cured by no later than,
12-29-2023_, which is thirty(30) days after the date of this notice and are returnable at the rate of
$1,000.00/day for each day of continued violation, or imprisonment not exceeding one year, or both. Note that a
re-inspection of the premises is required by law to confirm compliance with this notice & all other applicable
codes.
