Dear Craig,
The Architecture and Grounds Committee (A&G) has reviewed your
application for the above-named work. This project requires a permit from
The Village of Rye Brook. You are approved to get a permit from the
Village of Rye Brook. You are directed to submit this letter to the Village
along with your permit application. Once the permit is obtained, a copy
must be provided to A&G.
Work on the project may not begin until you receive written notice of
receipt of your permit from A&G.
If any changes are made to the original plans submitted to A&G, due to
input from the Village or arising during construction, the Committee must be
notified in writing. Work cannot proceed until you receive written approval
for those changes.
Failure to comply with these procedures will result in fines and/or work
stoppage.

inspections are performed by a third party electrical inspection agency. Before the electrical
permit can be approved and issued, the Building Inspector is requiring "A Site Plan sketch
drawing showing the station, parking spot for this vehicle, and the run of the extended electrical
charging line placement along the ground. On the site plan please show how the line is intended
to be protected from pedestrians who may walk across this area".

Steve and All:
Attached are all the required documents that I sent Arbors waiting for Arbors Approval before Village can
process the application submitted
1. Note—See photos
a. Charger plugged into outlet is a 15 Ft corded charger—(NOT Hardwired)
b. 40 ft extension cable is hanging on post—the Post is NOT cemented to the ground—it is on a metal
stake
c. See front of house (under window black cord holder)—15ft cord hangs on the under window black
holder when not in use (no need for cable wire protector)also run from outlet to post is in the shrub
bed (no traffic area)
d. Need post to hold extension cable when not in use—it is to cumbersome to remove after each charging
—cord is tied 11'23 ft and only need to unravel 17ft to charge car.
e. Without the post it makes ZERO sense to use the chargerd due to the difficulties to store, coil, remove
post etc after each use.
f. The charger and post were removed the same day I was notified of permits required.Also,the outlet
has not been used to charge the car.
I hope this explains everything.

Hi. In regard to site plan, we need the plot or survey with the placement of the station/post and location of any
electrical cables along the ground drawn on it.
You can show how that cable wire will be protected from pedestrian traffic.

1. There is no charging station, this is a plug in and the post is not permenant is it on a stake.The post
and charger can be removed at anytime. I do not see how we need a site plan for a non-premenant
extension cord? However, If this is mandatory for a portable cord I will get it done.
2. It will get the HOA approval and eletrican to file, I will stop by in a little while to pick up the forms and
fee schedule

thanks for reaching out. As this electrical installation of the exterior 220V line was done without a permit, you will
need to hire a Westchester County licensed electrician to file for a permit to legalize it. I am also requesting two
additional items. A letter from the H.O.A. approving it. Also, I need Site Plan sketch drawing showing the station,
parking spot for this vehicle, and the run of the extended electrical charging line placement along the ground. On the
site plan please show how the line is intended to be protected from pedestrians who make walk across this area.
