I am verifying that the pits dug for the concrete were measured at a depth of a minimum of 42"below grade. I have included photos below of(2)of the pits dug prior to installation of actual footings. It was determined that the drawings were with the owner,inside of the home,at the time of the site inspection. I will be sure the GC has them in hand for your next visit. The GC will clear debris and water from the footing sites so you can confirm the depths at each location. I would like to request a re-inspection if you deem it proper in order to rescind the Stop Work Order. The payment of the violation fee of$500 will be provided along with this letter.
