One is a 500-gallon diesel fuel tank, and the other is a 1,000-gallon unleaded gasoline tank. Both tanks and the dispensing pump have been out of service for over one year. In accordance with Chapter 57 of the NY State Fire Code section 5704.2.13.2.3, tanks,pump, and all related visible piping abandoned for one year or more must be removed from the property. To that end,please arrange for a licensed fuel tank removal company to file an application with the Building Department for a permit to remove said tanks,pump, and all visible appurtenances' thereto from the property as required by NY State Code. I have attached copies of the appropriate applications hereto for your convenience. Please review the applications and feel free to contact me should you require any further information. In order to avoid a Court Summons for violations of the NY State Fire Code,please arrange for the removal to be completed by no later than August 19, 2022, which is at least thirty(30)days after the date of this notice.
