Donald Art Company, Inc. , requesting permission to construct an additional building containing D13,000 square feet. This matter was referred to your Board and the Town Engineer for study and re- port. Very truly yours , i:CA (it's. ) Geraldine Zuccaro / down Clerk cc : Felix N. Fidelibus, Building Inspector-Engineer FELIX N. FIDELIBUS TOWN ENGINEER - Bu1LDING INSPECTOR TOWN OF RYE September 17, 1968 Mr. Amerigo J. DiChiara Board of Education School District No. 4 Town of Rye, New York Dear Mr. DiChiaras This letter is reference to Donald Art Company's request to connect the storm water runoff by underground conduit from a portion of heir property to a manhole on school property, approximately ten feet (101) from the adjoining property lines. The present manhole contains a grate type cover that was installed to collect runoff from the Donald Art Company by way of a drainage ditch. The manhole has a twelve inch (1211) pipe that is large enough in capacity to carry the water into the drainage system and eventually deposits the water into the East Branch of Blind Brook adjacent to the school parking lot. Presently, the drainage ditch contributing the Water to this man- hole should contribute more water than the proposed pipeline, which will collect only a portion of the Donald Art property runoff due to regrading. In effect, the existing manhole will serve the same purpose for which it was installed but more efficiently, and also eliminate the erosion of soil onto the school roadway when the Donal Art Company Aompleteo their grading and landscaping. Very truly yours, Felix N. Fidelibus Town Engineer FNF/b
