Subject:900 King Street
Hello
Good morning I’d like to introduce myself my name is Cora Filopei I'm a resident at the Arbors I was able to listen to
your meeting by phone last night and I’d like some of my in put to be taken into consideration I have recently moved
here I will be here one year in September the Arbors is a very very nice place to live staff is very nice and I moved here
for the peace and tranquility of the area this is my retirement home now unfortunately upon moving here I developed
cancer which has made my life complicated right now I also go for treatment locally so that helps being close not that
this is your problem by I did not know about this development on King Street that was in process for a couple of years
so I’m sad to say that all this is going on which can affect my lifestyle of living here especially driving in and out of here
with all this going on I listen to the facts and issues that are going on In regards to this development I Agree that the
development is way too large for the area I Also agree with the issue of the parking I have friends who live in these type
of developments and their Developments are much larger to accommodate parking for residence for staff working
every day and for visitors that come to see family they also have designated parking spots just for physicians staff which
takes up more parking that was not mentioned at the meeting last night and don’t know if the owner plans to do that
and didn’t say issues of the air quality is another concern with all the trucks In and out of here will create a lot of diesel
fuel odor which a lot of people find unacceptable I agree with the person who spoke About the time construction time if
they start 7 am would be to early even 8am May be early for some families that live on Ivy Hill Plus the fact that they
will work on Saturdays if they plan to start that early that will be an inconvenience for those families to correct me if I’m
wrong but in an email I received they mention about the water piping and the ground area there was very sensitive
could be detrimental to the area also they mentioned about we may be sharing the same sewers I have had a back up
here already which was unfortunate for me but things do happen but it’s not something that I’d like to revisit if sharing
the sewers is becomes the plan Getting back to the driving and people who think older seniors do not drive I do not
share that sentiment thought I drive I’m 68 I have friends who are 79 and I still driving on the road so likely a lot of these
new incoming seniors will have cars as far as height of the building I believe three stories would be sufficient due to the
fact they going to build townhouses the area will probably be very congested and look like Manhattan As for when they
start construction and the time they say it will take to finish things always go wrong so traffic in and out of here it’s going
to be chaotic for a long time and a great inconvenience for a lot of families even though they say that it won’t be an
issue but this Reality and plans always change for some reason or another
Thank you for reading my email if I have any further thoughts I will kindly send them have a great day and I plan to vote
on September 8 if that is the day people are allowed to vote on this issue thank you again for reading my email
