Council Member Saghir mentioned she heard from two parents who were very upset about the process on how the County basketball teams are picked. The parents feel it is based on the coach's nomination and it seems there is a lot of politics involved on how kids are chosen and it seems it is not based on ability. Parents feel there should be a different way as to how kids are picked for the County teams because this has been going on for years. Superintendent Bertolacci explained this is an issue every year but there have been the least issues this year. There was much discussion regarding the process used to pick the teams and it is a fact that there will always be an issue no matter what process is utilized. c.
