(Adjourned from 3/412014) 561 Westchester Avenue Legalization of commercial business and legalization of conversion to a two-family dwelling 2) Approval of March 4, 2014 Zoning Board Summary BOARD: Steven Berger, Acting Chairman Andrew Kaminsky Jeffrey Richman Excused. Donald Moscato, Chairman Joel Simon STAFF: Michael Izzo, Building Inspector Philip Butler, Village Counsel Fred Seirfert, IT Video Coordinator Paula Patafio, Meeting Secretary Mr. Steven Berger, Acting Chairman, welcomed everyone to the May 6, 2014 Zoning Board meeting. He noted that Mr. Don Moscato, Chairman, and Joel Simon were excused from the meeting, and although a quorum existed the applicant would need three yes votes in order for the resolution to be adopted. He stated that the applicant would be offered the opportunity to adjourn to the next meeting when there may be a full complement of the Board. Mr. Berger introduced Village consultants and staff. He asked that anyone addressing the Board please come to the podium and state their names and the nature of the application. (Adjourned from 31412014) 561 Westchester Avenue Legalization of commercial business and legalization of conversion to a two-family dwelling Demetrios Adamis, Esq., representative for the applicant, addressed the Board and requested an adjournment. With the consensus of the Board, the matter was adjourned to the June 3, 2014 Zoning Board of Appeals meeting. Mr. Adamis represented that he will provide the Affidavit of Posting at the next meeting. Mr. Adamis added that, before the June meeting, he will submit additional information to the Building Department concerning the other options the applicant considered for emergency egress for the second-floor apartment. 2) Approval of March 4, 2014 Zoning Board Summary Mr. Simon noted that he presented some comments. On a motion made by Andrew Kaminsky, and seconded by Jeffrey Richman, the summary was adopted as amended. There being no additional business before the Board, the meeting was adjourned at 8:04 p.m. Zoning Board of Appeals Meeting May 6,2014 Page 2 of 2
