The two following tank removals spill are closed: 0308799 at 114 Brush Hollow Lane 0308434 at 171 Ivy Hill Lane For both of these incidents,the NYS DEC requires no further action at this time. The Spill numbers should be listed as closed on the DEC Website within a day or two. In November of 2003 the owner of this Condo Unit was reported to be Carol Corsa. DEC was informed the owner did not live there, but rented the unit out to tenants. In November of 2003 the owner hired Northeast Environmental to remove this UST, as well as a second tank at 114 Brush Hollow Lane- also a rental in the same Condo Complex- see Spill 0308799. Both USTs were leaking. Soil contamination was present, evidence of possible ground water contamination was observed. Northeast Environmental was never hired to remdiate either spill. Letters sent to both addresses by the DEC have received no response. jod 7/08/2024: Received a call from Rye Brook Bldg Dept about this open permit.
