Capeci April 16th, 1946 Zoning Hoard of Appeals, Town of Eye, 125 North gain Street, Port Chester, N. Y. Attention: Mr. Harvey Quigel, Chairman. Re: Sect. 1 Blk. 25 Lot No.23. Dear Sir: A client of Trine, Yaria Carino is the owner of the premises known as Number 223 Ridge Street, in the town of Rye. The said premises contains 16 rooms and houses 2 fanilies. She desires to convert the premises into a 4 family house and in order to do so it is necessary that she build an addition to one side of the house which addition will be used for bathrooms and a stairway. Her sideyard *here she contempletes her addition is but 8 feet and the new construction requires 4 feet leaving 4 feet as a sideyard width is contrary to the zoning law which requires 5 feet. The adjoining house has only a side- yerd of 4 feet but i believe that was due to an error on the part of the Grantor. In view of the adaptability of the premises for ir.irediate conversion and the shortage of housing acco=,odations I respectfully request that permission be granted to proceed with the proposed construction, and request a hearing as soon as possible.
